Micheal Jordan grew up in Brooklyn New York.

What Businesses He Has

He had a Nike deal as a rookie and now has his own signature brand called Jordan. He owns the Charlotte Hornets. He also has part in Gatorade and Upper Deck. He also owns multiple car dealerships.

Success of Business

With Nike and Jordan he has made over 130 million dollars. His team that he owns is not a very good team but he still makes good money off owning them, and as we know Gatorade is a super successful company.

Why he signed with Nike

Meanwhile, Nike, a rising competitive brand of that time had recorded its first quarterly loss at the beginning of 1984. They wanted Jordan to endorse their brand and offered him a massive deal of $500,000 in cash for five years.
