How do you build COMMUNITY?

A COMMUNITY IS MORE THAN A NETWORK

"Networks tend to be transactional. Communities embody a shared identity, are committed to supporting the needs of their members and work together towards a common goal"

COMMUNITY

WHO?

The right members

LEEP Community; WHO are we?

A community of social innovators and change makers.

PEOPLE

"There is no community without HUMAN CONNECTIONS and quality of people & relationships"

The first members of any community are those who will set the standard of quality and tone for everyone else.

WHY?

The right reasons

LEEP Community; WHY do we exist?

To have bigger impact beyond our individual enterprises.

REASONS

LEEP is about moving beyond 1:1 technical assistance toward a model of shared resources and knowledge exchange. Towards a model

where the community sees itself as its #1 resource.

WHO + WHY

=

IDENTITY

IDENTITY

BEING WELL AND DOING WELL

"Central to the idea of collective wellbeing is the interconnectedness of all things.

In accepting this idea, we recognize the interconnectedness of our own basic needs, within ourselves – the interconnectedness of each other in our social environments – and the interconnectedness of everything beyond the human species.

Wellbeing is intrinsically collective.

And in accepting the idea of interconnectedness, we can also recognize that it is though our actions, from moment to moment, that we determine our collective wellbeing. "

Collective Well-being

"It makes little sense to think about being well without also thinking about doing well"
