How to kick off the year
Get students ae accounts when they register
Invite students to Google Classroom first day of class
Have students download the classroom on their phone if possible
Learn what students need chrome books and help with internet.
Prepare packets for students that do not have access to internet, set up a time to have phone check-ins.
When it happens!
Make Connections
Students should know what will be expected of them when we transition to distant learning. A blend of this should have been happening.
Students should have been introduced to live classrooms like zoom or meets prior to the transition .
Let students know class times will remain the same

Have a schedule of Webinars you would like to do, not too many a week because you forget!

Try to prepare for this because a lot of time is wasted on Webinars that cover things you already know.
Take notes, and keep them together.....this has been a lesson learned for me.
