WHAT IS HEALTHY LIVING TO ME?

I think healthy living is when you make sure you do heathy things. By eating the right foods, by doing physical activity which will result in good self asteem and the right thoughts about yourself. i also think that healthy living can be not smoking or taking drugs or having too much achohal.

HEALTHY EATING

Healthy eating is when you make sure you are taking in the right foods. You also make sure you arn't eating too much of it. some people may think that healthy eating is just having lots of fruits and veggies but your body also needs all the other food groups which is also good for your body

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Physical activity is when you make sure you exersice daily. Doing this will help you feel better and look better. physical activity is not just sports you could just be going on a walk. physical activity will also help you have a good healthy body inside like a good heart.

EMOTIONAL HEALTH

Emotional health is when you have good self asteem. Also you will make better choices, about your relashionships with friends. You can also express your feelings better.

-half of your plate should be fruit or veggie.

-25% should be protein

-25% should be grains

-you should have a small portion of dairy

-vegetables + fruit= 6 servings daily

-grain products= 6 servings daily

-milk and alternatives= 3-4 servings daily

-meat and alternatives= 1-2 servings daily

How this has helped me

If you either do sports competititively or for fun physical activity can make you heathy by burning off the carbs you ate. It will also make you more in shape.some stratagies to help you with emotional health could be teaching communication and problem solving skills. which i think is really good thing to do because knowing how to deal with your emotional health can be useful for the future and for now.

How my overall look on healthy living has changed

My overall look has changed a little bit. It has showed me to look at the nutrition facts on the packaged food. I take more precaution in what I eat more now then I did before.

Impacts on my personal choices on health and well being

Healthy Eating- I think I make pretty good choices on the foods I eat. When I eat good food I feel good and when I eat bad food I don't feel as good.

Physical Activity- I think I am getting enough exercise because I do a lot of things that involve moving a lot at home. like gymnastics and basketball.

Emotional Health- I think I have a good emotional health. I feel good about my self. I also am usually in a good mood.
