Why Do All Infrared Images Look Different?

All infrared images look different from one another because the amount of heat being emitted from each animal is different, and the camera may pick up on heat slightly different than another camera would. The more heat in an animal, the easier it is to see the animal in the images, and the lower the heat, the harder it is to see the animal.

How Are Wavelengths, Freqeuncy, and Infrared Related?

Wavelengths and frequencies are related because they both affect each other, the longer the wavelenth, the lower the frequency, and vice versa. The higher the frequency, the lower the wavelength. Both a long wavelength and a low frequency come together and create infrared waves, which are what create infrared images.

What is Infrared?

Infrared is a form of radiation that long wavelengths and a low frequency. Everything, even you, has infrared energy. The frequency and wavelength make the infrared radiation possible.

What Are Infrared Images?

Infrared images are images made from infrared cameras that are able to show and create images from heat emitted from objects using infrared technology. No light is needed to create these images, only heat.
