In the Maori Perspective a giant "Whale" that would attack them and their Whanau.
In the Pakeha Perspective, The HMS Endeavor had finally found land and when they got there the island totally looked deserted. But a few minutes later a priest navigator called tupaia who was sitting on the Endeavor heard gun shot followed by british people running from the maori Iwi.

At 1840 there was a signing of a very important treaty. This is what happened: In the Maori Peoples perspective,The Chef's were signing a treaty to make everything right.
In the Pakeha Perspective, The Important
People were signing a treaty to make everything right.
Its sounds the same doesn't it but what they didn't really know was that there was differences in the maori and english versions.

The NZ wars, why did they have to break the treaty's rules and fight. Why do these british have to be giant liars. they made the treaty so now they breaking there own rules. so, in the Maori perspective I bet they were scared because they had to risk they own life's because the british had guns and they only had spears.
In the Pakeha perspective they probably thought the Maori disobeyed the treaty and declared war.
