Stress: Usually a worry or a collection of negative thoughts, that accumalate to mental tension which typically has a physicial, and emotional toll.

B

Creating a gratitude journal, where I discuss what I am most grateful of. with the idea of how grateful I am of myself, and everything I have (hobbies and friends)

A

Limiting my discussions with extended family/negative family, that overall ruin my mood, and make me feel insecure. This helps, because I am distancing myself away from the stressor.

B

Extracurriculars may take up a lot of time, but a way I can deal with that, is by making up that time for later, and doing something I love. For example if extracurricular activities become too much in the sense where I am gettinh to much work, I can paint and watch my favourite TV show right after.

Family pressures, of living up to my relative's expectations

Creating a vision board of my future, and all the specific goals I want to achieve, the university I want to go to, the apartment I want to live in, so not everything is frightening.

A

Starting now, by looking into different resources, researching about different schools and careers, while looking at co-ops or any job opportunites that might open doors for me. Using all my findings to create a document for future reference.

A

Maintaining extracurricular work/ Going to different classes (I do piano, archery during lunch, KHOSA meetings on wednesday, and Mock Trial on Tuesdays)

B

Incorporating something into that part of my extracurriculars, so it makes me excited to attend (or to do). For example, packing a delicious snack to eat during that class. Or using new equipement (like pens) to work with. Overall, bringing excitement into the activity.

Preparedness for the future

Resilence: When a person is able to withstand and come back successfully from a hardship.

A

Talking to peers, teachers, people who can help me to achieve my goals. By talking to peers, I can understand their studying habits/tatics for how they achieve higher end marks. And by discussing with a teacher I can set up clinic appointments or extra time to go over something.

Go on a walk to refresh my mind and escape the thoughts of other people. While on the walk I can focus my attention on to the things near me. This way it helps to clear my mind of the bubble I created myself in (with the thought of other people's perception).

GRADES

Others' perceptions of me

2.

B

When dealing with bad grades again, I can make sure to set up a study routine that can fit my schedule, and that is effective to help me get prepared right beofre an evaluation.

Coming up with affirmations I can put near my desk/mirror that remind me of who I am, and of the idea that other people do not define me.
