#DRAWAGAINSTDV

It can be scary to speak out, to verbalize your feelings... sometimes, you just can't find the words.

In such a terrible situation, often words can't be used.

Art is a much more expressive medium... After all,

a picture is worth a thousand words.

Silence is not the solution. Speak out. For both yourself and others.

The Hash-Tag

#

On major social media platforms such as;

  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Tiktok

The hash-tag #drawagainstDV will be attached to resources and artworks that we as the campaign heads will post and artworks and stories posted by the public, to create a safe community for people to talk about their experiences and raise awareness.

Our Accounts will post weekly artworks, info-graphics and DV resources to the thread, to ensure people can always find someone to talk to and relate to about the issues they're facing.

THE DRAW AGAINST DV PROTEST

ADVOCATE FOR AWARENESS!

AWARENESS IS ADVANCEMENT!

Join us each May 1st, Domestic Violence Remembrance Day, to protest against DV. So many people are in the dark about how enormous of a problem is, how many people it affects. The more people who know, the closer we are to change! Bring your art, or a poster, lets march around the city this May, so that those suffering in hiding can march out of their abusive situations!
