DRY OR TASTY?

Thesis statement: one sentence that sums up your point of view on the issue. The thesis is usually written at the end of the introductory paragraph.

Title

P1: Introduction of the topic (present the topic and the thesis statement)

P2: your point of view on the topic (support paragraphs)

P3: examples, facts, research... (strength)

P4: state the opposing side (why the counter argument is ineffective or wrong).

For every "ying", there is a "yang"!

P5: Conclusion (how the topic affects, or can affect, the reader and/or society).
