We use present continuous tense if we want to talk about an action which is happening right now (at the moment).

What is the right time to use present continuous?

Subtopic 1

1. If we talk about an action which is happening now.

Example: we are reading.

2. Sometimes we can use it for talking about future.

Examples: they are playing tonight.

3. Repeated action.

Forming Verb in Continuous

Title

By adding (ing) to the verb we are making continuous form of the verb.

There are some rules we should pay attention to them when we add (ing) to verbs

1. removing (e) at the end of the verb.

2. making the last letter double.

Examples:

dance - dancing

beg - begging

Question and Negative Form

*We add (not) immediately after auxiliaries (is, are am) for forming negative sentence. (He is) becomes (He is not) (We are) becomes (We are not)

*For making question sentence we switch ( is, are, am) with the subject of the sentence. (They are) becomes (Are they?)

(I am) becomes (Am I?)

Make question forms from the following sentences:
