Acquired Parameter is taken from each of the corresponding sensors, e.g :
- Clock from Captain Clock
- EGT from EGT probe
- Pressure Altitude, CAS and Mach from Pitot Tube
- Landing Gear Status from Landing Gear
Derived Parameter is calculated based on Acquired Parameter, e.g :
- _ALTITUDE, based on Pressure Altitude and Radio Altitude
- Flare Time, based on parameter _ALTITUDE and aAIRGND
- Flight Phase, based on CAS, IVV, etc.
- Standard Event
- Combined Event
- User Defined Event
Events are created or modified by Teledyne Software and/or Flight Data Services Division.
Events consist of parameters (acquired or derived), key value, and special logic.
- 3005 Speed Above 230 knots (below 5000 ft)
Event will trigger when there's a CAS detected above 230 knots, persisting for 3 seconds or more when a/c is on flight phase 7 (descent), 8 (approach) or 9 (final approach).
- 1808 Long Flare Time
Event will trigger when Flare Time is more than 9 seconds.
Uses two or more events to trigger. Algorithm may vary.
Example :
- 2205 (Tail Strike Hazard at Landing) will use 1108 (Pitch High at Landing) and 1111 (Pitch Rate High at Landing)
- 3020 (Unstabilize Approach) will use 11 events for detection
AirFASE can generate report based on requested parameter per flight.
Example :
By request, AirFASE can emails you if certain events from a flight occurs.
