On July 8, 2019, ALSP Chief of Party has arrived Erbil
On July 14, COP, grants manager, two area managers, HR manager and Finance manager with Support team from HQ have conducted start up meeting in Erbil.
ALSP has issued APS to more than 60 prospective grantees in NE Syria on July 15th.
ALSP has signed the agreement with FFO on July 5, 2019 in Berlin
ALSP has signed its first grant on July 28, with Together for Al-Jarniya in Raqqa
Turkish invasion on part of NE Syria slowed down projects and impacted the availability of goods in the market
On July 10 Grants Manager has arrived Erbil
Increase community mobilization for dialogue, and address challenges related to agriculture and livelihoods.
Provide technical assistance and small grants to improve agricultural and livelihoods productivity and profitability of farmers, artisans, and in other livelihood areas, targeting communities in Northeast Syria, including at-risk youth, returnees, female-headed households, and small businesses.
Increase market linkages and community engagement and participation through activities that support horticulture and small livestock producers and small food processors (thereby also promoting food security), and through activities that facilitate rehabilitation of key market systems and related social cohesion infrastructure.

Support 74 beekeepers to increase honey production through the provision beekeeping equipment and training.
Support the agricultural sector through cleaning of sub and main water drainage channels to prevent fields from becoming waterlogged; thereby, increasing the availability of land suitable for cultivation. Clean 43.4km of drainage channels in Wadi al-Balana and Istizra.
Increase awareness among farmers about secondary crops (vegetable cultivation) and extend the vegetable growing season in northeastern Syria. Support 30 farmers in Tel Al-Samen and Al-Yarmouk with the technical support and gardening kits to utilize the tunnel farming method to help improve their livelihoods and productivity throughout the year.
Improving the food security and livelihoods of 450 families in al-Mehimeda through the development of kitchen gardens where participating families will receive training and seeds to plant cucumber, green beans, onions, and kidney beans.
Provide livestock herders with veterinary consultation and technical consultations on prevention of common livestock diseases in the Jadid Ekeidat, Jadid Bakara Al-Dehla, Al-Sabha, and Breiha villages.

Supporting vulnerable women with income generation activities through establishing fifteen green houses for 15 womens in Raqqa province.
Support 50 women from agricultural-dependent households in Raqqa province through the provision of vocational training and computer literacy.
Rehab chicken coops and provide needed inputs to improve chicken production. 34 chicken coops
Provide fish ponds to 15 farmers.
