South Sudan is located in East Africa. they have a poverty rate of 82.3% of 12 Million people. South sudan's vulnerability to climate change and natural disasters affects the humanitarian situation heavily. Most individuals survive on less Than $1.90 a Day. There Are many different organizations/agencies tryng to stop the spread of poverty And that have made progress tOf longterm stability and development outcomes.

What is currently being done about it?
There are many agencies adressing poverty in south sudan. Some include "resolution of conflict in the republic of south sudan", Transitional goverment of national unity","u.sagencyforinternationaldevelopment", "Doctors without borders", eTc. One of these agencies, R-Arcss, has extended their program by two years so the goverment has time to meet milestOnes in peace agreement. They aim to increase food security And incomes through improved agriculture productiVity and marketing.
what should be done about the problems?
In my opinion, there should be different organization/cooperations can be made to help with donations, finding shelter, and start helping small groups of people in poverty then moving to larger groups as progress.

What is being done about it?
What I believe should be done about it... I think the country should set of certain shelters where there is food and resources people need on a daily basis.
Many organizations are helping reduce the poverty rate by using these plans, National Development Plan, Social Protection Initiatives, Education and Healthcare, Job creation.
While other countries also are suffering from poverty, Equatorial Guinea is the 2nd top country in poverty.
More than 70% of the population is in poverty. With the mojority of that population being 18 years old or younger.
Madagascar
the percentage of poverty in madagascar is 70.7%
some reasons they are in poverty are:
Opinion- make things like health care and food more affordable, rise wadges, and give small jobs to people that are unemploeyed, have more environmental programs

The reason why most people in Guinea-Bissauare in poverty is because they got plagued by political instability since it became independent in 1974 and they had a lack of developement during that time.
