Toyota’s global vision of Respect for the Planet is a core value of the company and a driving force behind their environmental initiatives. The Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050, unveiled in September 2015, consists of six challenges that seek to go beyond merely minimizing environmental impact, to actually creating net positive change, including reducing 90% of CO2 emission in new Toyota cars and eliminating CO2 production in part-making processes.
