Do you think that management has the characteristics of full-fledged profession?

Class: 12th
not everyone can become a doctor, right?
You need to pass an examination or acquire a professional degree. Or let's say if you want to become a Chartered Accountant in India, then you have to clear an examination conducted by ICAI.
But, to become a manager, there is no such restriction. You just need to possess some basic qualifications. That's it!
This point clearly states that management is NOT a profession.
To make it more clear, let's see this from another aspect.
Okay, we know that it is a profession to be a lawyer and to be able to practice law in India, the lawyer has to become a member of the bar council. Similarly, all professions are affiliated to a professional association which regulates the entry and enforces a code of conduct.
what is this code of conduct?
For this, we must be clear that in management, it is not compulsory for a manager to get registered with "AIMA" or any professional association like a lawyer as mentioned before.
But when I say code of conduct, then it specifically means the behaviour of the members in a profession. All professions are bound by a code of conduct which guides their behaviour but in management, membership is not compulsory, so there is no such code of conduct for managers which again proves that management is NOT a profession.
Apart from this, the basic motive of a profession is to serve the client with a dedicated and committed service. The basic motive of an organisation is to earn profit by serving quality goods at a reasonable price.
Here, management goes with the profession in terms of social service.
So, finally, we can state management as a profession.
Moreover, all professions are based on some of the other specializations. It's the well-defined body of knowledge acquired through training in the respective field.
