There are two types of verbs
1. Transitive Verbs
2. Intransitive Verbs
Transitive Verbs are those verbs which need a particular object to make a complete sense.
INTRANSITIVE VERBS are those verbs which do not need a particular object to complete its meaning.
The examples of Transitive Verbs are:
1. The students speak French.
2. We study Grammar
In the above examples, 'French' and 'Grammar' are the objects used to make meaningful sentences.
The examples of Intransitive Verbs are:
1. The students speak well.
2. We study hard.
In the above sentences, objects are not added because they don not need any object.
