Synopsis
Richard Ramirez was an american serial killer that spent over two years raping and tourtuering over 25 victims and killing more than a dozen peopel. most of these crimes were commited in the victims homes.

- Ramirez was born in El Paso, Texas, on February 29, 1960, the youngest of Julian and Mercedes Ramirez's five children
- Abusive father, would often sleep in a local cemetery to avoid him
- As a child, Ramirez sustained two serious head injuries
- As a 12-year-old he was strongly influenced by his older cousin, Miguel Ramirez, a decorated U.S. Army Green Beret combat veteran who often boasted of his gruesome exploits during the Vietnam War

- Mike taught his young cousin some of his military skills, such as killing with stealth and surety
- He was present on May 4, 1973, when Mike fatally shot his wife Jessie in the face with a .38 caliber revolver, during a domestic argument
- After the shooting Richie became sullen and withdrawn from his family and peers

- Richard would break into the victims homes, mutilate the bodies and then draw satanic signs upon the walls
- He would turn the front door knob and if it was unlocked he saw it as a sign from Satan
- In total he killed 17 and assulted more than 20 victims

- On August 25, 1985 Richard was arrested trying to carjack an automobile
- On November 7, 1989, defendant Richard Ramirez was sentenced to death
for the so-called Night Stalker murders following his convictions of 12 counts of
first degree murder 1 one count of second degree
murder five counts of attempted murder , four
counts of rape and 14 counts of first degree burglary . The jury found true allegations of multiple-murder, burglary, and rape. The court imposed a sentence of death.
