Difficulties and Hardships

Difficulty: Being diagnosed with ADHD in the 7th grade and being placed on medicine was difficult to deal with because I did not want anyone to know I was different.

Hardship: Trying to learn strategies to cope with my ADHD and applying them so I could learn which ones would help me be successful in high school and now college.

• My Father - Taught me how to be a man, be respectful, take ownership for what I have done, see the positive in every situation.

• My Grandmother- Taught me how to be kind, loving,caring,understanding,have an open mind.
