Is it good to know some foreign languages? Well, that's a good question. For these days, language knowledge is a gate to many branches of our lives.

Language gives you an opportunity to study at highly recommended foreign univerities.

It's a nice feeling to make friends from foreign countries. But the only barrier that doesn't allow you to comunicate with them is the lack of language knowledge.

Nowadays, many employees must have a skill of speaking at least two foreign languges. It's requested because of the fact that companies need to keep in touch with other companies, even from different countries.

We know how impartant is to keep an international contact. It makes us sure that there won't be any conflict between countries. Politicians from many countries try to prevent a lot of worldwide issues. But how can they communicate with each other? Of course, by language!

Here's a list of the most popular languages that are known as the official languages. It's worth to know at least one of them.

1. English

1.5 billion people learn English.

It's probably the easiest language in the world. That's why it's so famous among the people.

2. Chinese

30 million people learn Chinese. This language is getting more and more popular.

3. Russian

It's pretty popular, especially in the Slavic countries.

4. French

About 82 million people study French.

5. Spanish

14.5 million people decided to learn Spanish.

If you are eager to understand what other people want to inform you about, you should practise your skills of listening. To do it, just listen a lot of conversations, for example listen to the radio. You can also watch videos and listen to music and try to understand them.

Don't forget to use language. That's the point of learning. It will break the barrier that doesn't allow you to communicate with foreigners.
