Wolves are carnivores which means that they eat meat. Wolves like to eat large mammals. Such as deer, elk,moose, bison,caribou. The wolves will also eat mice, snakes,rabbits,birds,fish but only way the eat and deal with these animals are in packs.Wolves will not eat things that are not meat. Wolves do not always catch there prey like for example scientific research has shown that wolves hunt deer, an average of 84 to 87 out of every 100 deer escape.
