- America have to pay very much tax to GB
- In 1773, americans start a rebellion against GB
- 13 colonies united to the United States of America
- GB sent troops to get the colonies back
- USA defeat the troops and they won the war
- This war lasted 7 years from 1775-1782
- The USA were own states
- The Southern States use slaves to work on the fields
- In 1808 the import of slaves was prohibited
- In 1860, Lincoln became President and the Southern States
left the USA
- The Southern States united to the Confederate States
- Lincoln want an united USA and sent troops to attack the
Confederate States and the civil war began, it's named the "Secession War"
- The Civil war lasted 4 years from 1861-1865
- 600.000 people died
- The Confederate States lost the war and the USA was reunited
- In 1865 Lincoln was murdered by an Southerner
- The slavery was prohibited
