- Brought to Europe during Neolithic transition

- From Spain and England they were then brought to the Americas !!!

- cows became a primary food staple in the lives of natives which continued on into modern day as america is the largest beef provider in the whole world!

- natives used cattle for meat, transportation, carrying goods, hides, clothes, and farming purposes. This greatly increased work efficience and allowed for a better quality of life

Fun Fact:

- during the exchange, fences were not used to keep cattle in but rather to keep them out and away from crops!
