- The US Labor Statistics for 2017 listed the most dangerous jobs in America:
- #1 on the list was Loggers at 110.9 deaths per 100k
- #2 Fishermen
- #3 Pilots and Flight Engineers
- #4 Roofers
- #5 Garbage Collectors at 35.8 deaths per 100k
- Considering the duties of the High Priest, if one did not do his duties exactly as God directed death resulted every time.
- Nadab and Abihu offered "strange fire" which could have been any act that deviated from God's directions.
- Sin has catastrophic consequences and is defined to be any action in disobedience to God.
