About Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks was born February 4 1913 in Tuskgee, Alabama, United States. She Passed away October 24 2005 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Her full name is Rosa Louise McCauley Parks. She was an American activist in the Civil Rights best known for her pivotal in the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
Awards
She won the Presidental Medal of Freedom, Congressial Gold Medal , Springarn Medal, Golden Plate Award and the NAACP image award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Education
Her education was at Highlander Folk school, Montgomery school for girls and the alabama state teachers college for negroes.
