The 1st Wife is Okonkwo 1st wife. She is also the mother of Okonkwo eldest son Nwoye. She took in Ikemefuna and she is very thoughtful and protective.
Okonkwo is the main character and he is the one the book is about. He was rise in a poor family and he fears becoming like his father. He has three wives and is known for his skill of being a wrestler and warrior, he becomes very wealthy and well respected in his clan.
Obierkia is Okonkwo Bestfriend. Obierkia is a thinking man, he often offers reasinable counterpionts to Okonkwo to Okonkwo's desire rash, but Okonkwo doesn't really take Obierkia advice.
