He also understands japanese he can also comunicate in both languages. His joints alow him to move and walk like a real human. So you do have robot in your every day life.
The wabot 2 before playing the piano is reprogramed or told before playing.That the music he is about to play has a certain time signature, key measure ,and dynamics. Then he is alowed to play.
It has light sensors in it's eye to scan music sheets to find the correct notes and keys. It also uses touch sensors to find the the correct bar.
