  • They claim that they conduct operations with integrity and respect for the many people, organizations and environments involved with their business.
  • Through their brands, commercial operations and relationships, and voluntary contributions, they plan to "create a positive impact"
  • Unilever says .. "We're also committed to continuously improving the way we manage our environmental impacts and are working towards our longer-term goal of developing a sustainable business."
  • They say that their Supplier Code, aligned to their own Code of Business Principles, comprises eleven principles covering business integrity and responsibilities relating to employees, consumers and the environment.
  • According to their site, they want to work with suppliers with values similar to their own and work to the same standards they do.

Unilever made a claim that Apollo copied the logo of one of their brands, Dove. But the other party denied it.

"Apollo Health and Beauty Care Corp. has fired off counterclaims against Unilever Supply Chain Inc. asserting it did not infringe the hygiene product heavyweight's trademarks for Dove soap and body wash."

- Law 360 (Christopher Norton)

They have proven that their Corporate Purpose is not just for show by distributing products that are very useful to the customers and their users.

For example, why is the brand Vaseline so popular?

  • Because of their slogan and commercials
  • It’s inexpensive
  • It’s widely available
  • Recommendations - And why would people recommend it? Their products, although not as great as other skin care products, are very effective, more or less. It’s also convenient because, let’s be honest, when one person in the family uses a product, the whole family tends to use the same product.
