Hook
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

a character that proves the theme statement in this section is about courage is Mrs. Dubose.
Mrs. Dubose is an elderly who is ill and is addicted to morphine. also She is racist and hates Atticus because he defended tom Robinson. Mr. Dubose proves the theme statement because when she past away Atticus told Jem that ‘’ Mrs. Dubose was a morphine addict. She took it as a pain killer. She’d have spent the rest of her life on it and without so much agony… she said she was going to leave this world beholden to nothing and nobody, Jem when your sick as she was, its all right for her.
