Differences

The main and plain difference between the ecosystems is the salt level being that freshwater has a lower solinity than the marine but other would be that in freshwater more is focused on breeding habits than eating habits.

Marine Life

Freshwater Ecosystem

Marine animals like the dolphins, blue whales, clown fish or deep sea animals like squid, and octopus or sea plants like seaweed and sea grass all have relationships between each other and depend on each other. Squid and octopus depend on rocks to camoflage and stay away from animals. Dolphins use sonar to find fish to eat on. Clown fish have a symbiotic relationship between sea anmone that gives them shelter. All these relationships are important for the ocean and for these animals to survive.

In freshwater ecosystems life is less diverse and smaller. Animals and plants don't have to work as hard as animals and plants in the marine ecosystem. Here in this ecosystem life goes through stages like when flies are born in the water and then fly into huge columns. They go through stages of childhood to adulthood.

Freshwater Life

In freshwater ecosystems fish like bass and salmon or land and water animals like alligators and crane all are in competition against each other. Alligator have to be sneaky to get their food so when bulls are drinking from the river thats when they attack and grab their prey. But fish like the salmon who have to breed has to swim upstream but eventually die after birth of newborn.

Marine Ecosystem

In marine ecosystems life is under the sea and more diverse and fast pace meaning you have to get your food before your neighbor does. Life is tough and if you aren't careful you might get eaten.
