- It is determining whether or not the child needs a particular device, service, intervention, accommodation, or program modification.
- The IEP Team considers and documents the childs strengths, parental concerns, results of most recent evaluation, academic development, functional needs of the child, results of their state or district wide assessment, communication needs, and consideration of special factors, and assistant technical devices.
