Adaptations

Physical Adaptations

Gazelles medium size body means less skin for moisture loss. This helps the Gazelle survive when resources are scarce.

Gazelles long limbs allow them to sprint up to 40 miles an hour. This helps the Gazelle have the ability to get out of the way of predators.

Gazelles tan coloration helps them blend in with the environment. This helps them go unnoticed by predators.

Behavior Adaptations

Gazelles conserve water by concentrating their urine. This also helps when resources are scarce

Gazelles also concentrate their feces to help conserve food when resources are scarce.

Gazelles use signals, gestures, and posture to signal warnings to other of their kind.
