Conformity- a change in ones behabior due to the real or imagined influence of others.
An Average Day at the Mall
Private Acceptance- conforming to others behavior out of a genuine belief that what they are doing or saying is right.
Public Compliance- Conforming to other peoples behavior publicly without necessarily believing in what they're doing or saying.
Normative Social Influence- the influence of others that lead us to conform in order to be liked.

Conformity in the World of Fashion
Children pointing, and laughing, adults seemed alarmed.
Our waitress at dinner seemed freaked out, kept a very close eye on us, maybe thought we would dine and dash.

One lady thought we were princesses dressed up to greet children around the mall, like in Disneyland.
Me and Megan both felt uncomfortable with all the attention at first, but after a while we just kind of went with it and had fun!
