An Encantado is a Brazilian legendary creature. They live in a deep underwater realm named the Encante. Encantados commonly viewed as freshwater dolphins or sea snake that has the ability to shapeshift into human form. They have superior musical ability, seductiveness, and attraction to parties. The transformation into human form usually occurs at night. While in human form the encantado will wear a hat to hide its protruding forehead. It does not disappear while shapeshifting and shows magical abilities, like the power to control storms and haunt humans. They can use mind control and can inflict illness, insanity, and even death. The creatures are known for kidnapping humans. Many villagers will not go near the Amazon River at night because of them. Plenty of South Americans believe in the existence of the Encantado and claim to have seen and interacted with the species.

In Cantabrian (northern Spain) folklore. The Culebre is a dragon-like creature, or a snake with two bat-like wings, that exhales fire and sulfur. Culebres are very dangerous, but many soldiers/knights tried to fight them because they usually hide huge treasures in their dens. Culebre are imortal, but they do grow old. The older they get the thicker their scales become. The Culebre are very lazy the only time they really move is to eat a cow or people. Its said the Culebre's spit will become a magical stone that can heal many diseases.

The Chupacabra is one of the most well known mythical creatures in Spanish culture. Chupacabra's appear in two different forms. The most common: lizard-like, leathers-scaly gray skin, and sharp quills running down its back. The second form has: has course gray facial hair, with head of dog, and the rest of the body is covered in black fur. This form has red eyes and bat-like wings. The eyes of a Chupacabra can paralyze and hypnotize. Chupacabras usually suck the blood out of their prey and sometimes the even suck out organs.
