Undergraduate Program - OCAD U delivers specialized, discipline-based education in an interdisciplinary context, integrating studio learning with historical, critical and scientific inquiry. Curriculum has more breadth and depth than any other fine arts program in Canada.
There are 3 Faculty Programs:
Faculty of Art
Faculty of Design
Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences
Total tuition fees for a “First Year Domestic Tuition” with ancillary fees cost about $6,764.00
OCAD University does not provide or offer on campus residency or meal plans.
Professional Programs- Undergraduate
Admission Requirements
OCAD is home to seventeen different undergraduate professional programs. They specialize into art and design, the university’s forte.
For BDes or BFA (Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Fine Arts) programs, a portfolio assessment is required.
All offers of admission are dependent on meeting the basic academic standards/ requirements
(Six 4U/M courses with an overall final average of 70%, 4U English [ENG4U] with a minimum final grade of 70%)

OCAD Health and Well-Being
Being healthy and physically active is a priority to OCAD. They have created a bicycle-friendly campus as well as a health center. Intramurals and yoga are also offered.

OCAD is proud to offer on-campus support as well as student success courses and student mentoring programs, to enhance the quality of student life at OCAD.
O-Days!
O-Days are orientation days for undergraduates attending OCAD. They are a fun way to learn about the school and have a great time. There is music, games, barbeques- overall a fun time.
Prior Learning Opportunities
Prior Learning Assessment is a method by which an undergraduate student may, with appropriate
evidence and documentation, be able to obtain credit for learning acquired outside of and/or prior to
admission to the an OCAD University degree program.
OCAD University, otherwise known as the Ontario College of Art and Design, is a public university located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
They only have one campus; located at 100 McCaul Street, Toronto Ontario within the Grange Park neighborhood.
The University’s population is made up of almost 5,000 students. The atmosphere, location, and students represent a wide variety of cultural and educational backgrounds and creates a vibrant, enthusiastic atmosphere.

The Digital Futures Bachelor of Design program at OCAD University welcomes applications for upper year admission from students with previous post-secondary education in a complementary discipline.
