Nigeria has a developing economy based on agriculture and mining.

The GDP is the total value of goods and services produced within a country in a year.

The Hausa people are considered mainly in Northwestern Nigeria and in adjoining Niger.

The cities in the region are among the greatest commerial centers of sub-Saharan Africa.

Most of Nigeria has tropical climate, with warm temperature throughout the year.

Temperature in the North is about 85'F ( 29'F ) daily temperatures rise to 100'F.

By the 1500's Kano had become the largest and most prosperous of the city states.

Although each Hausa city state began as a small walled village.

In 12th century the Hausa became the dominant nation in this region.

They were threatened by Kanem Bornu, which had replaced the earlier realms of Ghana, Mali, and Songhai.
