As children are raised with house dogs they are constantly told to not let the dog lick them because of their germs. Because the parents feels the child will catch some kind of bacteria that will harm them but is that bacteria actually harmful. I want to find out if the bacteria in their saliva can kill any harmful bacteria. I have been reading from different websites that are my main reference points that the bacteria in a dog's saliva is good to kill germs. But I want to engage in this experiment to figure out what causes the saliva to do so and how. I feel the need to do this experiment because with further research parents can be informed that the saliva isn't really harmful.
May give the dog discomfort when collecting 1/4 of his saliva.
The agar becomes the constant while the bacteria and dog saliva becomes my variable.
1. Does the saliva kill germ?
2. Does the freshness vary on the results?
3. Can the saliva add germs instead of the killing?
If using dog saliva on some things to kill germs then it can kill most of the infectants.

In conclusion my hypothesis was incorrect because the bacteria the saliva did not do was expected. I suggest that the freshness of the saliva can vary on results. The saliva can add germs instead of killing them off as well.
