CONCLUSION/GOING FORWARD

TYLER'S STORY

It was discussed that we should work with Dr Matt Pain and Tyler.

We worked on Psyc traits based around 5c's.

Interdisiplinary meeting was held, it was decided to get Tyler back training with the group and told he was training regardless of Injuries.

At the age of 10 Tyler underwent an ACL reconstruction,At the time this was the youngest known ACL reconstruction in the UK.

Tyler has had multiple injuries since the operation due to the Biomechanical affect on his body . In addition Tyler experienced growth related injuries.

Tyler will have frequent Psychological support. (Dr Matt Pain)

We must continue to be the "secondary significant adult" and make this a safe environment this is important for us to be a constant support through the tough situations.

RETURN TO TRAINING

INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMMES

Tyler was re-intrduced to squad training, we put constraints on his first week by making him an End man and Magic Man.

It was discussed that coaches should let him find his way back into practice and settle in without being pushed.

Concerns were giving him "special treatment"
