Some Hobbies Good For ENFPs

I mostly agree with the Myers-Briggs personality tests because the majority of characteristics listed for my type, ENFPs, were accurate. I feel like if the test had asked more detailed questions about my interests or lifestyle, it would have been more accurate. In general, I believe many personality tests from magazines or random online sites are mostly inaccurate because they are broad generalizations that large groups of people can relate to. Alike horoscopes, personality tests can have a hypochondriac effect where the person reading the information may just group themselves with each characteristic, when in reality, they might see themselves differently than they really are in reality.

Do you think these objective tests are valid/reliable measures of personality? Why or why not?

I think most of these objective tests are unreliable because they make broad and common suggestions that people can interprete as similarities in their personalities. I believe the most reliable test would have to be the Myers-Briggs test because it is a long test that asks specific questions on how you would react to many situations. How a person reacts to typical situations shows how they are as a person in daily life. Because the Myers-Briggs test often asked daily life questions, I believe it is the most accurate representation of your personality. Like all tests, there is a chance of error though. I don't believe it is an 100% accurate test considering every individual is unique, and humans can have contradicting personality traits sometimes. Because of the uniquess of all humans, I conclude that objective tests are not reliable in general.
