Exposition: Clytie, Leucothea, King Oceanus, Helios-takes place near the river in the morning

Inciting incident: Clytie and Leucothea were curious.

Conflict: Clytie and Leucothea had broken the rules.

Rising Action: Clytie tells King Oceanus about Leucothea-gets her in trouble.

Climax: Helios is upset with Clytie, she is disappointed as well.

Falling action: Clytie doesn't go back under the water.

Resolution: Clytie roots and turns into a flower.

Plot Summary

There were two sisters, Clytie and Leucothea, who got curious and wanted to stay above the surface of the river to watch the sun rise by Helios the sun god. Clytie gets Leucothea in trouble by King Oceanus, and when Helios found out, he became disappointed with Clytie. She then feels regretful for her actions and turns into a flower.
