Bar Scene Images

Lighting

Image two creates the same morning feel as image one but also creates a little more of that special effect the lighting in this image centerpieces the liquor and that is the type of manipulation of the light we want but we would centerpiece the character and change the color according to there mood tone and alcohol level. Another thing image two does it shows the door which we would have to recreate and show similar lighting with out blinding the audience, the lighting in the picture doesn't blind the camera but you can still see its a door and the light coming through it

The lighting in the bar scene would be ideal if we could get it to look like both image one and image two it would be ideal because in image one the suns rays are captured by the metal and reflect giving the notion that the picture was taken in the morning we would need to recreate a similar scene so we could capture the morning feel. Image one due to the lighting has a warm feel to it which is what we would want seen due to the deep interaction between Brenda and Wanda we could manipulate the lighting to shine a certain color when they are conversing but still keep the morning look

Type Of lighting

for the two scenes we have decided to use bare bulb lighting with some gels to change colors as different characters take center stage.

Waiting Room Images

The play is mostly set during the day where there would already be quite a bit of sunshine we would have to recreate that sunshine in the theater space and bare bulb lighting mixed with some gels at the right time will give us that sunshine and along with some effects we can emphasize some moods of the characters.

The two scenes we chose to demonstrate were the Bar Scene, and also the Waiting room scene. The Waiting room is the most important scene in the play it is where the characters form there bonds and the bar is also important because this is where we see a personal connection between brenda and wanda

Image 3 Does a great job of capturing the sunlight coming through the windows which we would have to recreate but like Image 2 its perfect in the sense that it doesn't blind the camera or audience. Image 3's Lighting is also great because now we can place another light on the character which is talking making the room a certain shade when a diffrent character is the main focus.

Image 4 also does a great job of displaying the morning feel but we liked how the light hit the furniture and reflected because it gives it more of a natural look as opposed to a created look. Image four is also great because it shows how we have to capture and recreate not only the shadows but also the fading Light on the walls.
