The Snake Boy
Origin
- Boy would go bird hunting
- Boy would give the birds to his grandmother
- The family would get jealous
- The boy said he would leave his family for the grandmother.
- He went hunting again, this time coming back with deer horns.
- He went to the hot house and asked his grandmother to leave him for the night.
- Grandmother came back and found an uktena.
- Grandmother would be in distress and family would encourage her to be with the boy.
- This uktena terrified the town.
- The uktena slithered to the river and dove in.
- Grandmother would soon follow.
