-The most important thing I've learned from EPQ is how to effectively manage my time, although it didn't go quite to plan.
-Also i have learned how to work independently without anyone's help, which would be beneficial for university and further aspects of life (employment).
I decided to do my EPQ project about drugs and drug abuse, I wanted to create a TV advertisement about the effects of cocaine. I chose to raise awareness about cocaine as its one of the most dangerous drugs of all time also there are a lot of adverts around on TV about drugs ,yet they haven’t had a positive effect on people, so I hope to change this.
- The advice i would give to someone considering doing EPQ, is manage your time effectively at the start and to not put EPQ on hold for other subjects.
- Also be well organized, and persevere.
- Do a topic you are interested in, because if you do a topic your not interested in, you wont put as much effort and work in.
- I would spend more time doing the artifact, (getting suitable actors together, lighting )
- I would also change my attitude towards the subject, as at first i didn't think it would be an important subject.
