What is Global Warming?

Global Warming is a process when greenhouse gases (e.g. Co , Methane) go into the atmosphere of Earth and allow infrared, and UV from the sun lets it in, but do not let them go.

This causes the Earth to heat up

What causes Global Warming?

The exhaust from cars (which also contains Co2 and Carbon Monoxide/ Co, the breath of animals (we are also animals), the farts and burps of cows, exhaust from power plants, and other things can cause greenhouse gases.

How far has global warming gone? and a long term implication

During 2013, carbon dioxide levels crossed 400ppm (parts per million).

650,000 years ago before to humanity the ppm levels ranged around 180 - 300.

Six thousand years ago, when the world was 1 degree (Celsius) warmer than it is now, the American agricultural heartland around Nebraska was desert.

Hypercanes

Hypercanes are a theory that if an area of water (a very LARGE area) were heated at 50 degrees for long enough it would create a storm so powerful that it could have wind speeds of 800 km/h (500mp/h) which way more than the fastest and wildest tornado

Hypercanes will destroy anything with their average waves which will be 59ft tall. Imagine how powerful the tsunamis will be.

Soil and water pollution exchange

Carbon dioxide is absorbed by the oceans. A large amount of co2 (such as if the temperature were 5 degrees warmer) would be absorbed by the ocean.

That much co2 absorbed by the ocean would cause it to become acidic(lemon-like).

It would also make fish suffocate (fish breathe like us-just instead of noses and lungs, they have gills).

Once warmed up enough the ocean willstart releasing an explosive substance called methane hydrate(CH4•5.75H2O). The hot waters will cause them to explode. In theory if there are enough CH4•5.75H2O clusters then it could make an explosion of the same caliber as "Fat man" or worse

Here ends my presentation. But one thing to remember is that this is a prediction and this can be prevented easily if we take action quickly.

By 2044, the European summer of 2003 will be average temperature (23.5 Celsius) and one third of all fresh water will have been made un-drinkable by draining into the ocean. Stressed plants will no longer absorb carbon dioxide and will start emitting it.

By this time the ocean levels will have risen by 6 -7 meters and will have flooded some coastal cities because of the melting of Greenland's and Antarctic glaciers. By 2050, one third of all species of animals and plants will have faced extinction.

By 2050, preventing mass starvation will be at the same difficulty as stopping the earth revolving around the sun. Sea levels will have been raised by 25 meters. The only place life is thriving is in the Arctic or Antarctica. Humanity will be endangered.

The Amazon rainforest will be beyond repair. The heat will have crippled the trees but forest fires will have destroyed them. The vast multitude of fauna will have gone extinct.

Warmer seas will mean less Co2 being absorbed into them. Trees and soil will have produced so much Co2 that the temperature will have been boosted by another 1.5 degrees.

By 2100, Ice sheets will have vanished from the Arctic. Rainforests will have burnt up and turned to desert; the Alps resemble the High Atlas Mountains. Sea levels will have increased by 50 - 75 meters. Antarctic glaciers will be melting (sea levels will rise by 1 meter every year) though they will not melt completely because of their hugeness for at least a millenia

One solution may be to move from dry areas to the thawed regions of the far north, in Canada and Siberia. These countries will have learned from other countries downfall and not let anyone in through their land borders.

The USA, China, and other countries may start a war trying to get into these countries. If there are nuclear or hydrogen bombs involved they will speed up Earths deterioration.

Undersea volcanoes will erupt because of dissolvation of rock and release methane - a gas 24 times more greenhouse effect inducing then co2. By now the end of humanity is easy to see.

The Earth will be a near-barren wasteland. All life on earth except for bacteria and one celled organisms will be wiped out.

If Humanity does survive, Yellowstone will be the end of it, the force of the explosion will be 850000 megatons of dynamite or 850000000000 tonnes (approximate) of dynamite. It will cover the entire USA to be under 5 inches of lava, the rest of the world will be under 35 inches of ash, cause most of the worlds volcanoes to erupt, and start the next ice age.

By Who-Knows-When, Sea levels will rise to huge amounts and the oceans will heat up. The warmer the water, the less oxygen it holds. Sharks and marine biology will be on the verge of extinction. The warm waters will release a major part of global warming - methane hydrate - a substance that explodes when heated and can blow other methane hydrate clusters. One theory is that if the clusters are densely packed, the force of the explosion could be at least the force of the Hiroshima Nuclear bomb.

The warm waters will cause Super-Hurricanes called Hypercanes (will be mentioned soon) will destroying anything in their path with their awesome might and tsunamis.
