Brief Background
- Born Deaf in 1945 to Deaf parents in New Jersey
- Graduated from Gallaudet with a degree in Library Sciences in 1968
- Started performing with the National Theatre of the Deaf in 1970
- Started her 32 year long character Linda the Librarian in 1971
- Has appeared in Broadway shows, tv shows and movies
