Becuase the Aphotic zone is so deep photosynthesis can not coour here, therefore plants dont survive and there is none
Ecological Threats
The animals who live around the vents depend of the chemosythesis from the vents to make their food. If the vents runs out all the animals in this area may become extinct
Forms around Hydrothermal vents
Looks like plants
Squishy center is full of bacteria
Lives solemly on itself
Bacteria feeds on it's blood
Worms feed of bacteria
Spawning
Stay anchored to the gorund
Deepest layer of the worlds oceans, and gets no light at all. The depth of this zone usually starts at about 13,000 m.
Extremely large mouth
Almost non-exsistent fins

Eyes detect light not movement
Can swollow animals larger than itself
uses tail for movement
Light at the end flashes pink and red and lures in prey

Average Temperature
Gupler Eel
use deep sea drills to create more hydrothermal vents in these areas to keep the populations thriving
In the Aphotic zone the temperature is so deep that the temperature is nearly freezing and decreases with depth

Cephlapods
Fish
Because this area of the ocean is so deep down, no rainfall occurs here. Falling dead sea creatures rain down from above to give the apotic sone a snow like resemblence
Most animals rely on the carcuses of sperm whales to fall from above for the nutriets and food that they need to survive that can last them up to two years
Phytoplankton
Panckae Jellyfish
Zooplankton
Megamouth Shark
Phytoplankton
Mussles
Krills
One of the most rarest species of deep sea sharks
Cephlapods
Only found 59 speciemens have been found to this day
Gulpler Eel
Mollusks
Swims with open mouth
Filters water for plankton and jellyfish
