Cuchulainn the Hero
Celtic Traditions
Cuchulainn's birth is shrouded in mystery, but it is known that the God Lugh adopted him, and Cuchulainn is rumored to have been the reincarnation of the god. His first act of heroism occured when he defeated the ferocious guard dog of the King of Culain. He dedicated his life to protecting the king in repayment. He later went on to defeat entire armies all on his own. Many stories speak of a terrifying "battle mode" Cuchulainn went into in the middle of a fight. He would become an unrecognizable monster of frenzied rage. Cuchulain was killed by the evil goddess Medb, but not before he was renowned as the greatest hero to ever live.
