Prioritizing Activity

You are in multidisciplinary rounds, where you receive important medical and psychosocial information regarding all current patients. You get a phone call from a nurse saying they are about to pull a drainage tube out of a patients leg. YOu have spent a lot of time with the patient and know that he is alone and has high anziety regarding the tube and hospitalization in general. At the same time two volunteers show up that you weren't expecting, as well as pet therapy who needs a list of patients to visit. As if that isn't enough going on, a nurse from the PICU calls asking for toys for a new patient who is very active and fussy, and mom is at her wits end. You are the only CLS on duty. How do you prioritize care in this situation?
