Some challenges that Brazil faces today have to deal with the World cup and the amount of time and money it takes to sponsor that event. Economic and geographical problems such as poverty, crime, education, deforestation, acid rain, endangered species, and pollution
The age of exploration has affected Brazil by having the Europeans and Portuguese coming over and taking over the natives. They brought over disease and nearly wiped out their race. On a good note, they established the industry of coffee and helped to grow and develop the selling of that major cash crop.
Geography has affected Brazil in many ways. It's mainly affected by the Amazon river valley. The Amazon's forest provides foods and shelter, while the Amazon river makes traveling easier which benefits the Native people. Modern civilization and industry are cutting down the forest which affects the Natives and depletes the land ;however, but improves Brazil's economy.
