What challenges does Brazil face today?

Some challenges that Brazil faces today have to deal with the World cup and the amount of time and money it takes to sponsor that event. Economic and geographical problems such as poverty, crime, education, deforestation, acid rain, endangered species, and pollution

The age of exploration has affected Brazil by having the Europeans and Portuguese coming over and taking over the natives. They brought over disease and nearly wiped out their race. On a good note, they established the industry of coffee and helped to grow and develop the selling of that major cash crop.

  • affects of deforestation

How does geography affect Brazil?

  • In the rich soil of the southern and southeastern coastal areas farmers grow a wide variety of crops such as coffee, oranges, soybeans and other things

Geography has affected Brazil in many ways. It's mainly affected by the Amazon river valley. Modern civilization and industry are cutting down the forest which affects the Natives and depletes the land ;however, but improves Brazil's economy.
