Suzhou today

The Suzhou today is a flourishing city, it has amusement parks, lakes and a lot of buildings for economic and social causes, but what it is missing is airport, stock exchange, sport center and some more things for social purposes.

Climate

The climate in Suzhou is monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers , and cool, cloudy, damp winters with occasional snowfall .Northwesterly winds blowing from Siberia during winter can cause temperatures to fall below freezing at night, while southerly or southwesterly winds during the summer can push temperatures above 35 °C (95 °F). The hottest temperature recorded was at 40.1 °C (104 °F) on 31 July 2013, and the lowest at −9.8 °C (14 °F) on 16 January 1958 (since 1951).

From before till modern

Before the economic development, Suzhou is like a big garden, green trees, clean rivers and fresh air, it was used to be a place to farm, but after a while, the SIP has started to develop, and the development it is having is called the economic development. During the economic development, The Chinese government worked with the Singaporean government, nowadays there are tall buildings such as the gate of orient and the global 188. It is quite cool that the SIP developed so fast in such a short time. From a farm to a city with the name of biggest industrial city in China in just about 20 years.

Hazards

Suzhou doesn't have a lot of Hazards, only lightning and taiphoon, but rarely happens, there are no earthquakes because it is not near any kind of tectonic plate,no avalanches because it rarely snows in the SIP, no volcanoes explosion because there are no volcanoes.Wild fire don't exist in Suzhou because Suzhou is humid in the summer, so the fire can't form, there are no tsunami because it is not near the sea.

Human effect on SIP

Human effect on SIP is basically everything in Suzhou SIP, the subway, the railway, the bus,the taxi...... There is one railway station in the SIP, and there is 19 Metro stations in SIP, and only lane1 and lane3, lastly, 35 lanes for bus. On the other hand, there are shopping centers like Auchan, Decathlon, RT-Mart and Carrefour... For entertainment, there is the ferris wheel park and for industry, there are a lot of factories in the SIP. The population in Suzhou SIP is approximately 762000 people. Also, Suzhou is the biggest industrial city in China because of the factories in the SIP.

Suzhou SIP

There are golf courses and lakes in Suzhou, there is the Jinji lake,

the Duzhu lake and the Yangchen lake. There is the Jinji lake golf course

and the Jinying golf course. Suzhou was called "Land of plenty" and the "Venice of the East", Suzhou is called this because it has a lot of rivers, and lakes.Suzhou is located in the prosperous Yangtze River Delta region in the geographic center of Taihu Lake, the south bank of the mouth of the Yangtze River, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Beijing-Shanghai railway and major freeways throughout the whole territory. The end of 2005, the city's resident population was over six million, the urban resident population was over two million. Suzhou is China's first national historical and cultural city, the national key scenic tourist city, but also the one of the four national key environmental protection cities. Located southeast of Jiangsu Province, the province is also the most southern city. East of Shanghai, East China Sea; West Taihu Lake, backed by Wuxi, Changzhou Looking across the lake; south of Zhejiang Province, bordering with Jiaxing, Huzhou, under the jurisdiction of Taihu Lake water nearby; on the north side, there is Yangtze, and Nantong, Taizhou . West of downtown Nanjing for 219 kilometers and west of downtown Shanghai for 80 kilometers. Jiangsu Province, east portal, Shanghai's throat, leading to the Soviet Union in northern Jiangsu, Zhejiang and must pass through the land, location is extremely advantageous.

Suzhou SIP stands for Suzhou Industrial Park, it's in Suzhou, Jiangsu. The formal establishment of the SIP was in February 1994. The SIP is 288km big, and it is a cosmopolitan city. I think the reason why SIP is internationalization is that it is close to Shanghai, and also close to the capital city of Jiangsu, Nanjing. As you can see from map 2, SIP is only one of the district in Suzhou. Suzhou include Wujiang, Wuzhong, Gusu, Huqiu, Xiangcheng and SIP. The coordinate of SIP is 31.326° N 120.707° E it is closer to the south pole, so it is warmer.知道
