I identify with this model the most because I enjoy seeing the reaction on peoples face when they have reached a goals. This model produces proximal goals that a participant can achieve

Similarities Between Models

As the participant becomes healthier the role of TR lessens until the participant has become self-efficient.

Advantages

  • Has started to focus on strengths of the participant
  • As the participants carry on they become more self-efficient

Disadvantages

While these charts are very different. For example different authors, different years when they were created and even the approach style changes from deficit based to strength based.

However, there are somethings that all of these models have in common. All four models are all focused on have participants become more self-efficient and provide their own insight on their personal leisure care.

  • That people need to have had treatment in order to reach a self-efficient state
